England striker Peter Crouch has been targeted by burglars for a second time.

The Premier League and England striker, currently playing for Stoke City, had his Cheshire mansion broken into on Tuesday night while he and his wife, Abbey Clancy, were out. The house is on "millionaires row" in Mottram St Andrew, in Cheshire, an area popular with other Premier League footballers. Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez live nearby! It is the second time that Crouch has been targeted by burglars, the last time was in 2006. Other footballers have also been burgled whilst away playing football including Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, Emile Heskey and former Manchester city striker Roque Santa Cruz, to name a few. The latest burglary is the first time a North West-based Premier League player has been targeted for some time.
