Have just finished a job in Highgate North London N6 for an elderly lady who was a victim of a Trick or Treat scam. Three people dressed in Halloween costumes knocked at the door and when she opened it they pushed her to the floor and took cash and jewellery from her home. She was left very frightened and shaken by such a cruel incident.
We have now fitted a spy hole and a door chain to her door so she can see who is calling at the door first and open the door slightly to talk to them with the door chain on.
So please beware of who you open the door to this Halloween and bogus Trick or Treaters.
