Alexandra Locksmiths were recently contacted by a customer in Lower Edmonton, North London, N9 as they were getting a lodger and wanted a lock fitted to a bedroom door.
We advised that she would need a 3 lever lock as it was for an internal door and fitted a Union 3 lever deadlock, which is a key operated lock from both sides similar to a Chubb type lock normally found on the lower part of a front door. The tenant could lock the door from the inside whilst in the room and also from the outside when going out. Giving both our customer and the lodger peace of mind.
