Farmers Market banned at Forty Hall Enfield

As this weekend sees the grand re-opening of the Grade I listed Forty Hall in Enfield, many locals were looking forward to visiting the Farmers Market which was to be held in the Capel Manor College Farm. The market was to be made up of eight stalls selling freshly baked breads, fruits, vegetables, pastries, cheeses and wild game. But due to an almost 400 year old charter online doctor granted by King James I, the Farmers Market has been cancelled at the last minute. The organisers were shocked to hear that the rules of the Charter set out that no other markets can be held within a six and a half mile radius of the Enfield Town Market which was established in 1618.
